A new Lord of the Rings series premieres

The adaptation of the novel by British author J.R.R. Tolkien was one of the great successes, this universe of fantasy and adventure had so many followers that after more than 20 years since the first movie, a new installment of this world set in Middle Earth where the Fellowship of the Ring comes together has been released.

You can find this new series on Prime Video and it's called The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Every week you can watch a new episode, every Thursday at dawn each week until a total of 8 episodes are premiered. But let's get to the interesting part; what is this new Lord of the Rings prequel about?

The protagonists of this story will have to face evil again in Middle Earth during a time much earlier than “The Fellowship of the Ring”. Everything is set in the Second Age of the Sun, between the resurrection of Sauron and the loss of the One Ring. The first chapter unfolds based on Galadriel's quest for revenge, who wants to find Sauron. At some point, the war is declared over by Gil-galad while humans are introduced in conflict with the elves and the return of the orcs is discovered along with other events that link the characters together, forming the beginning of the whole story, until it is finally discovered that the shadow is returning to the lands.

In the second episode, the characters begin investigations to understand the real situation as a consequence. of massacres and massive destruction. New creatures are also introduced that we start to learn about their past and their purpose. Throughout the chapter, we travel to various places, through nomadic villages, the Elven kingdom, among others, while they seek solutions to the attacks of the orcs.
